Village of Hoffman Board of Trustees Met Feb. 10.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Meeting called to order by President Snyder. The following trustees answered roll call:

PRESENT ABSENT

Lee Spittler Karen Grawe

Jaime Spittler Sharilyn Muench

Mitch McClaren

Tammy Travis -

The minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Village Clerk and approved as read.

Visitors recognized: Dale Lawrence - complaining of vehicles parked at the park all the time.

Bills presented for Approval - $25,167.18 monthly bills $606.62 payroll

Motion to approve the bills made by Trustee L. Spittler second by Trustee Travis.

No opposition. Motion approved.

Finance/Economic Development - None

Health - None

Ordinance/Zoning - there is a hole in the alley on the south end of Cherry St.

Park - None

Streets - construction on the house on Lyle Drive has stopped. Culverts are done in front of seed house storage building. Second St. still needs some attention.

Utilities - None

President's Updates & Comments - Kent Schweirjohn from HMG talked about Rebuild Illinois money for MFT.

Jason Green and Cory Hassell are pricing a new meter and valve for the water line coming from HRW.

Clerk's Updates & Comments - The community building is needing some work done inside

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

A. Sign Replacement at the Park - sign will be replaced at a cost not to exceed $50Q. Motion to approve made by Trustee J. Spittler second by Trustee Travis. No opposition. Motion approved.

NEW BUSINESS

A. Welcome Sign Replacement - Two welcome signs on the highway need to be replaced,; Not to exceed $500.00 Motion to approve made by Trustee Travis second by Trustee L. Spittler. No opposition. Motion approved.

B. Minimum Wage Increase - Tabled

C. Modem Replacement for High Tide System - Modems need to be upgraded. Initial cost is $500.00 each, $225 each will be refunded after the old ones are returned. Motion to approve made by Trustee McClaren second by Trustee Travis. No opposition. Motion approved.
