Village of Hoffman Board of Trustees met May 12.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Meeting called to order by President Snyder. The following Trustees answered Roll Call:

The minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Village Clerk and approved as read. Visitors recognized: None 

Bills Presented for Approval- $21,196.30 monthly bills $1,256.63 payroll Motion to approve the bills made by Trustee Grawe second by Trustee Muench No opposition. Motion approved. 

COMMITTEE REPORTS 

Finance/Economic Development - None 

Health - None 

Ordinance/Zoning - None 

Park - Had a question about drainage in alley on North Oak. Needs a new culvert. Streets - Waiting on weather to start with culverts 

Utilities - None 

President's Comments - 

Sending letters to residents about weeds 

Need to order new improved water meters. Will also update the water billing program Street Sweeping will be starting again 

Taxes on Lyle Drive property

Clerk's Comments - We have several water meters that do not read after a rain storm. Still need to get estimates on flooring and painting at the village hall.

Administration Transition 

NEW BUSINESS 

1. Swearing in of Newly elected Officials - Swore in Lee Spittler and Tammy Travis to the Village Board. 

2. Appointment of Trustee - Tabled 

3. Official Election Canvass - Reviewed the official Canvass received from the County Clerk. 

4. Village Board committee Assignments - reviewed the committee assignments. May change some after new Trustees are appointed. 

5. Village Board Meeting Dates - Approved the meeting dates - second Wednesday of the month. Motion to approve made by Trustee Travis second by Trustee Muench. No opposition. Motion approved. 

6. MFT FY 2022 Resolution - Motion to approve the MFT Resolution made by Trustee J. Spittler second by Trustee L. Spittler Roll Call vote taken 4 ayes 0 nays. Motion approved.

Motion to adjourn made by Trustee Travis second by Trustee J, Spittler. No opposition. Motion approved. Meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm
