New Baden Walk-in Clinic Services temporarily moving to Breese

HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Breese issued the following announcement on July 22

Walk-in clinic services currently offered by HSHS St. Joseph’s Convenient Care in New Baden will temporarily move to the Clinton County Rural Health clinic located on St. Joseph’s Hospital’s campus in Breese beginning July 26. 

Outpatient services for lab, X-ray imaging and physical therapy will continue to be offered in New Baden on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Physical therapy is offered by appointment. To make an appointment for physical therapy, call (618) 526-5436.

Walk-in clinic hours at the Clinton County Rural Health clinic in Breese will be offered Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed Sundays and holidays.

The walk-in option may be used for diagnosis and medical care, including sore throats, sinus infections, bronchitis, ear infections, sprains, strains, rashes, etc. Those with chronic conditions or needing medication refill needs will be required to make an appointment ahead of time. 

“We have seen an increased need for access to care at our Clinton County Rural Health location in Breese, shared Chris Klay, president and CEO of HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese. “During this temporary shift of our walk-in clinic services from New Baden to Breese, we will continue to evaluate the needs to better serve our community.”

Patients coming to the hospital’s campus for an appointment at Clinton County Rural Health should park in the far west area of the parking lot and enter by the big blue sign that says Clinton County Rural Health. Do not enter through the main hospital entrance.
