The Central City School District #133 Board of Education met in special session at 3:00 pm.
President, Rick Starr called the meeting to order. The following members were present: Rick Starr, Steve Rupe, Tom Altenbaumer, Liz Jack and Amanda Ponyi.
Visitors included Michelle Rieke, Lora Densmore and Dan Knox.
A motion was made by Tom Altenbaumer and seconded by Rick Starr to go into closed session. On a roll call vote the following members voted aye: Rick Starr, Steve Rupe, Tom Altenbaumer, Liz Jack and Amanda Ponyi. No member voted nay. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Tom Altenbaumer and seconded by Liz jack to exit closed session and resume the regular meeting. On a roll call vote the following members voted aye: Rick Starr, Steve Rupe, Tom Altenbaumer, Liz Jack and Amanda Ponyi. No member voted nay. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Liz Jack and seconded by Amanda Ponyi to hire Dan Knox as the Title I teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. On a roll call vote the following members voted aye: Rick Starr, Steve Rupe, Tom Altenbaumer, Liz Jack and Amanda Ponyi. No member voted nay. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Amanda Ponyi to hire Lora Densmore as the Early Childhood teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. On a roll call vote the following members voted aye: Rick Starr, Steve Rupe, Tom Altenbaumer, Liz Jack and Amanda Ponyi. No member voted nay. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Tom Altenbaumer and seconded by Liz Jack to hire Michelle Rieke as the School Counselor for the 2021-2022 school year. On a roll call vote the following members voted aye: Rick Starr, Steve Rupe, Tom Altenbaumer, Liz Jack and Amanda Ponyi. No member voted nay. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Tom Altenbaumer and seconded by Liz Jack to adjourn.
