Report: St. Rose School District spent $8,735 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at St. Rose School District 14-15 was up 9 percent from five years ago, according to the South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Clinton County school district spent $8,015 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $8,735 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 168 to 198 students over the same period.

St. Rose's spending in 2019-20 was 39.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
