THE EDINBURG COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT #4 met in Regular Session at 6:00 pm. The meeting was held in the ECUSD #4 Library

Administrative Reports

Superintendent Report:

Mr. Theilen discussed our current district covid numbers that continue to run low. We are averaging under 10 quarantines at any given time.

The testing for staff has been going well to this point. The first round of Test to Stay for students was conducted and it went well with no positives found.

The district auditor intends to present the FY21 AFR at the December board meeting. Principal's Report:

Mrs. Francis reported on the safety drills, vision and hearing screenings, Aimsweb and MAP testing have all been completed.

Elementary Rtl has begun the format that was envisioned allowing us to implement Tier II and Tier III support.

A Veteran's Day video made by many students will be sent out to the community. Mrs. Francis looks forward to planning an assembly for next year.

High School basketball started this week and they have their first game on November 22nd.

VII. EXECUTIVE SESSION

• Motion was made by MORELAND and seconded by LEADY to adjourn to Executive Session at 6:11 PM. Motion carries (5/0)

• Motion was made by MORELAND and seconded by BECK to return to Open Session at 6:48PM. Motion carries (5/0)

VIII. OLD BUSINESS

• Motion was made by MORELAND and seconded by LEADY to approve the changing of district personal health care provider to Health Alliance effective December 1, 202 l. Motion carries (5/0)

• Motion was made by LEADY and seconded by Beck to approve District Provided Health Benefit MOU with the EEA. Motion carries (5/0)

IX. NEW BUSINESS

• Motion was made by MORELAND and seconded by BECK for the approval of the FY22 Edinburg School Improvement Plan. Motion carries (5/0)

• Motion was made by LEADY and seconded by MORELAND to approve Certification MOU with the EEA. Motion carries (5/0)

• Motion was made by MORELAND and seconded by LEADY to approve the appointment of Brenda Higgins as Edinburg Board of Education Secretary. Motion carries (5/0)

• Motion was made by BECK and seconded by LEADY for the adoption ofTRS Supplemental Savings Plan Resolution. Motion Carries (5/0)

• Motion was made by LEADY and seconded by PEACOCK for the approval of the 2021 Tentative Tax Levy. Motion Carries (5/0)

• Motion was made by MORELAND and seconded by LEADY for the hiring of Brenda Higgins as the District Bookkeeper. Motion Carries (5/0)

• Motion was made by BECK and seconded by PEACOCK for the appointment of Board Member, Adam Leady as the Edinburg District Delegate for the 2021 IASB Delegate Assembly Meeting on November 20, 2021. Motion Carries ( 4/0) with LEADY abstaining.

MOTION by MORELAND and seconded by LEADY to adjourn at 7:20 pm. Carried by acclamation. (5/0)
