Report: West Washington County School District spent $11,716 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at West Washington County Community Unit School District 10 was up 3.2 percent from five years ago, according to the South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Washington County school district spent $11,356 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,716 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 541 to 537 students over the same period.

West Washington County's spending in 2019-20 was 19.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
