Report: Odin School District spent $11,950 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Odin Public School District 722 was up 29.2 percent from five years ago, according to the South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Marion County school district spent $9,246 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,950 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 301 to 216 students over the same period.

Odin's spending in 2019-20 was 17.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
