Report: Ramsey School District spent $9,691 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Ramsey Community Unit School District 204 was up 1.1 percent from five years ago, according to the South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Fayette County school district spent $9,586 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,691 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 456 to 434 students over the same period.

Ramsey's spending in 2019-20 was 33.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
