August 2019: Hillsboro experienced a 25% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Hillsboro fell by $20,300 while total sales increased by 250%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $61,000 - a 25% decrease over the $81,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Hillsboro in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Hillsboro for 2019 was $1,751. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,595. This marks an increase of 9.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
