Home prices decreased in Coffeen during the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Coffeen fell by $15,150 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $8,851 - a 63.1% decrease over the $24,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Coffeen in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Coffeen for 2019 was $806. In 2018, the median sales tax was $758. This marks an increase of 6.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 9.1%.
