Fillmore home prices rose in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Fillmore rose by $1,888 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $51,688 - a 3.8% increase over the $49,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Fillmore in the first quarter of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Fillmore for 2019 was $437. In 2018, the median sales tax was $435. This marks an increase of 0.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.8%.
