The first half of 2019: Home prices in Coalton increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Coalton rose by $96,500 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $158,500 - a 155.6% increase over the $62,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Coalton in the first half of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Coalton for 2019 was $629. In 2018, the median sales tax was $607. This marks an increase of 3.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.4%.
