Blackburn College Junior Outfielder Adam Holm (Chatham, Il./Glenwood HS) was named second team All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outfielder for the spring season. Holm hit .418 which was second in the conference, he also scored 41 runs which was just two short of tying the school record for runs scored in a season. "Adam had an outstanding season for us, said Blackburn Head Coach Mike Neal. "Adam should have been a unanimous first teamer in my opinion," said Neal. Holm was also named the team's Most Valuable Player for the season.
Senior Shortstop/Right Handed Pitcher Tyler Jackson (Mesa, Az./Skyline HS) was named the third-team all-conference utility player. Jackson hit .348 and was 2-1 on the mound for the Beavers.
Other team award winners were senior outfielder Trevor Platt (Austin, Tx.McNeil HS) was named Most Improved Player and R.J. Arredondo (Corpus Christi, Tx. Carroll HS) was named Top Newcomer.
