City of Greenville Board of Adjustments met July 5.

Following the Executive Order issued by Governor Pritzker and with the surge in COVID Omicron variant, it has been determined by Mayor Barber that this public meeting be held both in-person and by remote participation.
The Special Board of Adjustments meeting was called to order on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 6:00 PM by Chairperson Rena Ward.

3.1. Minutes of: February 15, 2022
Dale Hastings made a motion to approve the February 15, 2022 meeting minutes, and Doug Faulkner seconded. All voted in favor of approving the minutes.
4. PUBLIC HEARING
Public Hearing opened at 6:01 PM. No one was in attendance or had contacted Jeff Ketten to comment on the issue.
4.1. A request by Greenville University for a variance to the maximum block length in the Downtown (D) zone, Section 153.0997 of the Unified Development Code. The variance would be to change the block length from 300 feet to 600 feet from North 2nd Street to North Prairie Street between College Avenue and Oak St.
Public Hearing was closed at 6:03 PM
Motion by Dale Hastings, seconded by Rena Ward, made a motion to approve the request by Greenville University for a variance to the maximum block length in the Downtown (D) zone, Section 153.0997 of the Unified Development Code.
