Moraine Valley Community College is again offering its four-week winter session with 32 courses available starting Dec. 19.
These are accelerated online courses that are formally part of the spring semester, and many transfer to four-year colleges and universities. College students who are home for the holidays could register for some of these general classes as a Visiting University student.
Classes include Intro to Physical Anthropology, Cannabis Introduction, Fundamentals of Chemistry, Java Programming I, Composition I and II, Intro to Criminal Justice, Principles of Macro-Economics, Trigonometric Functions, Intro to Psychology, General Sociology and Film Appreciation, among others.
A complete list of credit classes can be found online at morainevalley.edu/winter. Open registration starts Nov. 7. In-district tuition is $134 per credit hour plus fees and books. New students must complete an admission application at morainevalley.edu/apply and can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W.
