Greenville attorney Thomas DeVore is going to continue his lawsuit against the Illinois Department of Corrections over its Covid vaccine requirement.

The DOC recently removed its requirement for employees to become vaccinated. The move comes as dangers of the vaccine, particularly myocarditis and related cardiac arrest in young men, have become more prevalent.

"Right now, in front of the 5th appellate district, we still have a case pending on behalf of my department of correction employees," DeVore, a 2022 candidate for Attorney General, told WMAY.

"We are not going anywhere.” DeVore’s continued pursuit of the case comes as tales become more widespread of young people dying from cardiac arrest after receiving the vaccine. DeVore said the DOC has resorted to reinstating employees who were fired over refusing the vaccine.

"Yeah, there were people fired," Devore told WMAY. "I heard from my friends that are pretty high up in the organization, and they are starting to call many of them back and have been sending the correspondence saying, 'OK, we are going to reinstate you, be here on Monday.'"

The move by the DOC comes in the wake of mounting evidence that the Covid vaccines in some cases what Pfizer and BioNTech – the vaccine’s manufacturers – say is a 1 in 5,000 chance of heart problems. Many have been arguing the danger of the vaccine outweighs the danger of catching Covid.

Direct proof that heart failure brought on by the second dosage of the immunization has contributed to the deaths of young men was discovered in a mid-2022 report published in the Archives of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine

“Myocarditis in adolescents has been diagnosed clinically following the administration of the second dose of an mRNA vaccine for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19),” the paper reads.

This is supported by direct evidence from an autopsy, which, according to the study, was not performed in many other cases of a death that seemed suspiciously related to vaccination.

James R. Gill, a professor of medicine at Yale University, is the main author. Many studies have stated that people receiving the vaccine should take this into consideration when making medical decisions given the low likelihood of mortality and/or major disease in children owing to Covid and the lack of a significant benefit from vaccines.

In October 2022, Florida's Surgeon General Dr. Joe Ladapo recommended against giving the Covid vaccine to men under the age of 39 owing to potential cardiac complications.

Eighty-four percent more men between the ages of 18 and 39 died from cardiac causes within 28 days after receiving an mRNA vaccine, according to Florida's data. “Studying the safety and efficacy of any medications, including vaccines, is an important component of public health,” Ladapo said in a press release.

“Far less attention has been paid to safety and the concerns of many individuals have been dismissed – these are important findings that should be communicated to Floridians.”

The state earlier in the year noted it would not undertake a drive to vaccinate children given the unknowns and purported dangers.

On Fox News, Tucker Carlson covered the cardiac arrest and collapse of the NFL’s Damar Hamlin, a player for the Buffalo Bills, during a game and noted that cardiologists have seen an increase in cardiac issues in young players.

“We don't know exactly why Damar Hamlin collapsed last night, but at the same time, there are concerns about cases like this, young athletes collapsing on the field of heart problems. And there has been a dramatic increase in this,” Carlson said.

“You're not imagining it. What is this? Cardiologist Peter McCullough and researcher Angus Paul, critics looked into this trend.”

“In Europe, European sports leagues. They found that prior to COVID and the COVID 19 vaccines, there were roughly 29 cardiac arrests in those European sports leagues per year since the vaccine campaign began. There have been more than 1500 total cardiac arrests in those leagues, and two thirds of those were fatal. Does that prove something? We don't know. But you should know that.”

Carlson’s reporting is backed up by NBA legend John Stockton, who said he knew of over 300 athletes who’ve suffered cardiac arrest, some dying due to their condition, post-vaccine.

Other athletes have been open about their struggles post-vaccine. French tennis Starr Jérémy Chardy reported he suffered from a variety of ailments post-vaccine and has been unable to return to the sport since.

“I regret having taken the vaccine, but I couldn't have known. It's the first time that the idea that next season might be my last has crossed my mind," Chardy told Tennis World. Chardy said he is optimistic that the side effects will go away but is afraid his career is over.
