Millikin University will present its 7th Annual Civic Discourse Week
Millikin University will present its 7th Annual Civic Discourse Week from March 27-March 30, 2023. In the midst of an increasingly diverse array of perspectives, civic discourse helps demonstrate our shared responsibility to one another, our commitment to our systems and our willingness to choose to elevate the conversation.
This year's Civic Discourse Week theme is "Neurodivergence: The Visible and the Invisible.” This year’s program will feature interactive discussions and activities, including the opportunity to learn more about neurodivergence and connect with local businesses supporting neurodivergence. Keynote Speaker Jonathan Mooney will also share his experience navigating the education system while being neurodivergent.
