HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland and HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese are sponsoring the "Hoops for Hope" Cancer Awareness Pink Out Game at Highland High School on Monday, December 16. The event will feature a basketball game between the Highland Lady Bulldogs and the Breese Mater Dei Lady Knights, with proceeds aimed at supporting individuals battling cancer.

The public is invited to attend the game, which begins at 6 p.m., and is encouraged to wear pink to show support for cancer awareness. A portion of the funds raised during the event will benefit two organizations: the Love You More Foundation and Leaps of Love.

Dr. Mark Walshauser, who oversees the HSHS Cancer Care Program in Highland, highlighted that their program provides comprehensive clinical and support services ranging from screening and diagnostics to treatment and counseling. Patients also have opportunities to participate in clinical trials through HSHS' advanced oncology program. For further details about this program, interested parties can contact 618-651-2888.
