Dr. Brett Hutcherson has joined the Clinton County Rural Health Clinic in Breese, Illinois, as part of the HSHS Medical Group. The clinic is now accepting patients of all ages at its location on Holy Cross Lane.

Dr. Hutcherson brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as an osteopathic physician with expertise in primary care, pediatrics, and urgent care. His approach to healthcare emphasizes patient-centered care and addressing diverse health issues.

He earned his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, after completing a Bachelor of Science in human nutrition, foods and exercise at Virginia Tech. Dr. Hutcherson completed his residency at Saint Louis University and Scott Air Force Base Family Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.

Before joining the clinic in Breese, Dr. Hutcherson was the medical director and attending physician at Red Bud Hospital in Red Bud. He is affiliated with several professional organizations including the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
