Southwestern Community Unit School District 9 Board of Education met Dec. 11.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
A special meeting of the Southwestern Board of Education was called to order by President Jason Oertel at 6:45 p.m. on December 17, 2024, in the Middle School Commons Room in Piasa, Illinois. Jason Oertel-President asked Jenny Hanks, Board Secretary to call roll showing those members present as Jason Oertel, Jenny Hanks, Jacob Reno, Andrew Ruyle, Brad Schuchman, Nicholas Strohbeck, Dr. Kevin Bowman-Superintendent and Kim Albert Recording Secretary. Donna Loy was absent.
Superintendent, Dr. Bowman, reviewed the districts cash reserve balances from June 2024- present with the board. There were no questions or concerns voiced.
Public Comments: None
A motion was made by Jacob Reno and seconded by Brad Schuchman to adjourn the Tax Levy Hearing.
Roll Call Vote:
Ayes: Hanks, Oertel, Reno, Ruyle, Schuchman, and Strohbeck
Nays: None
MOTION CARRIED.
The meeting adjourned at 6:51p.m.
