HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese is set to host a health fair on Saturday, March 29, from 6-10 a.m. The event will take place in the hospital's medical office building located at 9515 Holy Cross Lane, Breese, Illinois. Attendees are advised to park in the main lot off Holy Cross Lane and enter through the designated door.
Registration for the health fair opened on February 24 at 9 a.m., requiring participants to use the MyHSHS online portal powered by MyChart. To register, individuals must have a MyHSHS account, which can be created at www.myhshs.org by clicking “Sign Up Now.” For assistance with MyHSHS, contact the support line at 1-866-312-5023 or email MyHealthRecordhelp@hshs.org.
The registration process involves logging into MyHSHS and navigating through several steps to schedule an appointment for desired tests. Registration closes on March 14 or when all slots are filled. On-site registration will not be available.
The health fair operates as a self-pay service with payments due on the day of the event via credit card, check, or cash. St. Joseph’s Hospital will not bill insurance plans; however, attendees may submit receipts to their insurers independently.
Screenings offered include a Comprehensive Panel for $45 (requiring a 10-hour fast), Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Screenings for $15, Hemoglobin A1C for $10, Vitamin D Screening for $15, and complimentary Blood Pressure Checks. Participants can only undergo tests selected during preregistration.
Test results will be posted to attendees' MyHSHS accounts and not mailed or faxed to healthcare providers. Follow-up examinations are the responsibility of each participant.
