1) Consent Agenda

a. Approval of minutes of the February 18, 2025 Council Meeting as presented.

2) Bids for rock and sand for the FY2026 budget year were requested; three bids were received:

Walsh Farms & Trucking $16.75 CA-6 rock $17.05 FA-1 Sand

Beelman Logistics $16.37 CA-6 rock $16.38 FA-1 Sand

Heistand Family Trucking $18.38 CA-6 rock $21.20 FA-1 Sand

**all bids are per ton price

Public Works Director Sanders is recommending we accept the bid from the local company, Walsh Farms & Trucking. Their bid for CA-6 rock is less than 3% higher than the low bid from Beelman. If all quantities bid were used the increase would equal $380.00, the FA-1 sand increase would equal $67.00. Walsh Farms is a local company and we have done business with them for the past several years. Recommend acceptance of the bid from Walsh Farms & Trucking for CA-6 rock bid at $16.75 per ton and FA-1 Sand bid at $17.05 per ton.

3) Bids were requested for chemicals at the Water Treatment Plant. Three bids were received for Soda Ash #50 bags of 100 grade on 40” pallet:

PVS DX, Inc. Festus, MO no bid

Water Solutions Unlimited Camby, IN $21.50

Hawkins, Inc. Roseville, MN $21.25

Chlorine – ton cylinders

D.P.C. Enterprises Festus, MO $1,829.00

Water Solutions Unlimited Camby, IN no bid

Hawkins, Inc. Roseville, MN $1,824.00

Recommend approval of low bid for Soda Ash and Chlorine to Hawkins, Inc. for Soda Ash (grade 100) 50# bags at $21.25 and Chlorine – $1,824.00 ton cylinders
