HSHS St. Joseph’s New Baden Outpatient Clinic will discontinue x-ray services starting August 8, 2025. The clinic, located at 211 East Hanover, will continue to offer laboratory and physical therapy services. Walk-in lab services are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., while physical therapy is offered by appointment.

The decision to end x-ray services follows an evaluation of how often imaging was used at the clinic. Patients needing imaging can still access these services at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese at 9515 Holy Cross Lane. Appointments for imaging can be made by calling 618-607-5600.

Imaging options at the Breese hospital include general x-ray available around the clock, CT scans from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., MRI from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., ultrasound from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., mammograms from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., DEXA (bone density) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and nuclear medicine by appointment only.
