5.1 Award contract for the Staunton-Bunker Hill Road project (23- 00108-01-FP) following the July 9, 2025 letting
The Committee reviewed the results of the July 9, 2025 letting for the Staunton-Bunker Hill Road project (Section 23-00108- 01-FP). The low bidder was Charles E Mahoney Co. with a bid of $ 999,956.82. The low bid was 8.86% over the engineer’s estimate of $ 918,595.00. The project is awardable and rebidding would likely not result in lower prices.
Motion to to accept the bids from the July 9, 2025 letting and award the contract for the Staunton-Bunker Hill Road project, Section 23-00108-01-FP to Charles E Mahoney of Swansea, Il for an amount of $999,956.82.
