Report: Irvington spent $11,985 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Irvington Community Consolidated School District 11 is up 8 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Washington County school district spent $11,070 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,985 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 69 to 65.

Irvington's spending in 2016-17 was 8 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
