Report: Morrisonville spent $8,781 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Morrisonville Community Unit School District 1 is up 1 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Christian County school district spent $8,732 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $8,781 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 316 to 340.

Morrisonville's spending in 2016-17 was 32 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
