Carlinville Volunteer Fire Department responded to 92 calls in 2017 - 2.1 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Carlinville included 47 fires - 16 structure fires, nine vehicle fires and 22 other fires.

The department also received 45 false calls.
