Ashley Fire Protection District responded to 15 calls in 2017 - 16.7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Ashley included 14 fires - two structure fires, six vehicle fires and six other fires.

The department also received one false call.

The Ashley Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $94,957 in 2017.
