How much has Germantown SD 60 overspent over the past 10 years?

Germantown School District 60 accumulated $99,162 in debt between fiscal years 2008 and 2017, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of public schools data.

Spending and revenue data obtained for this analysis comes from the Illinois Local Education Agency Retrieval Network (ILEARN), which is part of the Illinois State Board of Education and collects data annually on school district financials.

Over the 10-year span, Germantown SD 60 reported 9.5 percent less revenue. At the same time, total spending went down 16 percent.
