66 percent of applicants to Greenville University were admitted for fall 2017

At Greenville University, 86 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Greenville enrolled 1,235 students in fall 2017, including 985 in undergraduate and 250 in graduate programs, data shows. 12.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

51 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 41 percent are residents of other states. 9 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (69 percent) and Black or African American (13 percent).

The school admitted 66 percent of the 1,287 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 26 percent enrolled.
