KASKASKIA COLLEGE: “Yoga” Class to Be Held in Greenville

Kaskaskia College issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.

The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education is pleased to present a “Yoga” class in Greenville. This class is Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 18 through October 2, 2018 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The registration number is LLI 7400 GR03D. This class will be held at the First United Methodist Church at 310 S 2nd St. in Greenville.

This ancient form of fitness instruction will improve mobility and strength while being gentle on your body. Students will learn and practice various basic yoga postures, breathing and proper body alignment with the focus of moving slowly and gently. Yoga releases muscle tension and increase flexibility while incorporating deep breathing and meditation exercise. Individuals need no prior experience to join the class. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel or a mat to class. Cost for this course is $25.00.

Students may register through the Greenville Education Center at 618-545-3465 or the Department of Industrial and Continuing Education at Kaskaskia College at 618-545-3255. Space is limited, so please register early. All students must pre-register for this class.
