Marion County votes 'yes' on pair of referendums

Marion County voters said "yes" to the following measures on the Nov. 6 ballot:

They voted for a referendum calling for the Village of Sandoval to be disconnected from the Centralia Library District. With 98.55 percent of the votes counted, the Village of Sandoval to be disconnected from the Centralia Library District had 165 votes in favor and 107 against.

Taxpayers in Marion County voted for a referendum calling for the Village of Sandoval: "Shall a public library be established and maintained in Sandoval?" With 99.64 percent of votes counted, establishing a public library in Sandoval had 241 votes in favor and 34 against.
