Kaskaskia College issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.
Kaskaskia College is proud to announce that Alyssa Kretzer of Nashville has been named the recipient of the Ruth and Leo Barczewski Scholarship awarded through the Kaskaskia College Foundation.
Alyssa is a 2013 graduate of Nashville High School and is pursuing a degree in Nursing. She is the daughter of Tina and LD Kretzer.
