VILLAGE OF BRIGHTON: November Citizen's Of The Month 2018

Winning

Village of Brighton recently issued the following announcement.

The Citizen of the Month of November 2018 is bestowed on two hard working servants who unselfishly give their time, talents, and dedication to the Village. Our first recipient was raised in Brighton, still in Brighton for Midwest Basement Technologies as part owner and manager and plays an integral part in the company’s success. She attended Lindenwood College where she graduated with a Master’s Degree. She is a member of the Park Committee and the Sesquicentennial Committee and adds greatly to both with her effort and intellect. She is always bringing creative ideas for events and ways of financial support to the committees. To her credit both of the Official Sesquicentennial Logo’s that we are using were designed by her and accepted by the committee. Her energy and positive attitude make both committee’s better and tremendously helps to make a Better Brighton. Christy Jones, we congratulate and honor you as Citizen of the Month. Our second recipient also gives her all in serving the community. She is a lifelong resident of Brighton and her deep love for this community is evident in all her actions and service to both the Park Committee and the Sesquicentennial Committee. She works in Godfrey at New American Funding, where she is an asset. She is never afraid to take on the tough tasks, host an event as Chairperson or support everyone else in their effort. She is a tremendous leader and intellect. She has helped greatly in fund raising events, improving our festivals with lining up entertainment, doing all the hard jobs like leading the food and refreshment stand, and basically doing whatever is asked of her. Recently she was sub-chairperson of the Haunted Hayride along with Christy that was a fantastic success as both worked all day to ensure the children who attended and participated on the Hayride would have a fun experience. She is great in getting others involved to serve and always gives her best to make a Better Brighton. Congratulations Beth Bramley as we honor you as Citizen of the Month.
