Q2 real estate sales report: Brighton

Median prices rose in Brighton over last year, and are up 70.9 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 14 homes sold in Brighton for a median price of $105,000. That's 8.4 percent higher than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, there were no foreclosures in Brighton.

Median property tax for homeowners in Brighton was $2,422.65 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.5 percent of their home's value in taxes.
