Taylorville Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.
The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation is seeking donations for its annual appeal in support of the Foundation’s Medical Technologies Fund.
This fund aids in the purchase of medical equipment essential to providing high-quality patient care at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. In the past, grants distributed have helped purchase scopes for surgery, a new 3D mammography system and infrared technology to assist in locating veins. In 2018, the medical technologies fund was used to purchase state-of-the-art binocular video goggles, which are used to determine the cause and treatment of vertigo.
“Medical technology is such a vital aspect of healthcare,” said TMH Foundation Board President, Scott McClure. “It is through the generosity of our donors that allows us to help purchase modern equipment for the hospital.”
If you would like to support the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 2018 Annual Appeal, this holiday season, tax-deductible contributions can be made payable to Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation and mailed to 201 East Pleasant Street, Taylorville, IL 62568 or donations can be made online at taylorvillememorial.org/foundation.
