Irvington Community Consolidated School District 11 Board of Education met Nov. 19.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Irvington Grade School Board of Education met in session on

November 19, 2018. Present for the meeting were Supt. David Schulte, Clay Waggoner, Gera Sims, Tabatha Jentsch, Steve Tatjenhorst, Janice Tiemann, and Sandra Wright.

A motion was made by Jentsch and seconded by Tatjenhorst that the minutes for the October 15 Regular and Executive Session and the October Special meeting of the Board of Education be approved. Motion passed 5-0.

A motion was made by Tatjenhorst and seconded by Tiemann that the Treasurer’s report for the month of October 2018 be approved as presented. Motion passed 5-0.

A motion was made by Tiemann and seconded by Tatjenhorst that the bills for the month of November 2018 be approved as presented. Motion passed 5-0.

A motion was made by Tiemann and seconded by Jentsch to approve the Superintendents report as presented. Motion passed 5-0.

A motion was made by Jentsch and seconded by Tatjenhorst to approve the repairs to the Scoreboard for $1965.00 from Varsity Scoreboards. Motion passed 5-0.

A motion was made to order a HD camera to cover the Bus area with pending quote. Motion passed 5-0.

A motion was made by Jentsch and seconded by Tiemann that the Tentative Tax Levy be approved for 2018 payable in 2019. Motion passed 5-0.

A motion was made by Tiemann and seconded by Tatjenhorst that the Public Hearing for Approval of the Tax Levy be set for December 17, 2018 at 6:25 p.m. be approved. Motion passed 5-0.

A motion was made by Jentsch and seconded by Tiemann that Stephanie Bowen be employed as a part time paraprofessional for the Early Childhood Program at Willow Grove for the remainder of this year. Motion passed 4-1.

A motion was made by Tatjenhorst and seconded by Tiemann that Francis Ray be employed as a paraprofessional as an Individual Aid for Brock. Motion passed 5-0.

A motion was made by Jentsch and seconded by Tatjenhorst that the Application for Waiver of School Code be approved for 3 years. Motion passed 5-0

A motion was made by Tatjenhorst and seconded by Jentsch that the meeting be adjourned at 8:00 p.m. Motion passed 5-0.
