Report: Odin spent $9,498 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Odin Public School District 722 is up 3.1 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Marion County school district spent $9,209 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,498 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 303 to 272.

Odin's spending in 2017-18 was 28.8 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
