Report: Morrisonville spent $8,341 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Morrisonville Community Unit School District 1 is down 4.7 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Christian County school district spent $8,749 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,341 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 343 to 335.

Morrisonville's spending in 2017-18 was 37.5 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
