Report: Germantown spent $6,295 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Germantown School District 60 is down 3.4 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Clinton County school district spent $6,516 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $6,295 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 268 to 262.

Germantown's spending in 2017-18 was 52.8 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
