Kaskaskia College issued the following announcement on Feb. 1.
Kaskaskia College will host an “Explore Health Sciences Night” at the main campus on Wednesday, February 13 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Programs such as Dental Assisting, Paramedicine, Physical Therapy Assistant, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy and Diagnostic Medical Sonography will all be discussed.
Healthcare occupations are expected to grow by 18% by 2026. Students who attend will learn how Kaskaskia College can prepare you for a career in healthcare. Participants will meet with faculty and students enrolled in the programs as well as get the opportunity to tour classrooms and the state of the art simulation labs. Students will also learn about the application process and meet with financial aid staff and advisors.
This event is open to anyone interested in the health sciences programs offered at Kaskaskia College. For more information, call 618-545-3331.
