Administrators in Taylorville Community Unit School District 3 earn an average of $95,313 per year, ranking 513rd out of 864 districts in the state, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 12.2% higher than in 2014 and 11% higher than in 2009. District administrators make 11.2% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Christian County school district enrolled 2542 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 282 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
