Administrators in Irvington Community Consolidated School District 11 earn an average of $76,180 per year, ranking 783rd out of 864 districts in the state, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 8.2% higher than in 2014 and 30.7% higher than in 2009. District administrators make 29% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Washington County school district enrolled 57 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 57 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
