The price of local government in 2017: Village of Brownstown

The Village of Brownstown budget was $2.21 million for its 2017 fiscal year, or $8,312 per household.

That's an increase of 4.8 percent from 2016, when the village spent $2.11 million, or $7,931 per household.

Brownstown has 266 households and a population of 750.
