Aviston home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Aviston rose by $41,250 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $106,250 - a 63.5% increase over the $65,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Aviston in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Aviston for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,706, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
