Germantown home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Germantown rose by $29,500 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $154,500 - a 23.6% increase over the $125,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Germantown in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Germantown for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,338, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
