Breese home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Breese rose by $6,150 while total sales increased by 43.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,900 - a 5.1% increase over the $119,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Breese in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Breese for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,952, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
