Breese home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Breese rose by $20,750 while total sales increased by 37.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 44 homes sold, with a median sale price of $138,500 - a 17.6% increase over the $117,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 32 homes sold in Breese in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Breese for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,952, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
