City of Breese issued the following announcement on June 14.
Every year the Breese Optimist Club donates about ~$10,000 to local youth programs and events. Every few years we also like to take on bigger projects, like Hannah’s playground and the North Side Park ball diamond.
Our next big project is the 31 year old playground at Southside park. We are looking to install new equipment in Spring 2020.
Our big fundraisers are the concession stand at Southside park and Fall Fest.
So, stop by the Fall Fest for a day of home brew, chili, vendors/crafts, live music, a petting zoo, bounce houses, a rock wall, and more and help us make these improvements to our community possible!
We’d also like to send a huge thank you to Diane Holtmann and her generous donations that have kick started this campaign!
